Texas Style Grilled Back Ribs

Satisfy your cravings with these fantastic BBQ ribs slow grilled in beautiful sauce!

St. Louis Spare Ribs- 1 slab
Coarse Ground Black Pepper- As needed
Olive oil- As needed
Salt- To taste

Method: Remove ribs from packaging, trim excess fat and remove membrane from bone side. Clean and drain the ribs. Pat dry using a kitchen towel. Generously spread olive oil on both sides of the slab. Sprinkle the rib rub on both sides of the ribs. Wrap it in an aluminum foil or baking sheet and refrigerate for 1 hour. Coating the ribs in the spicy rub before and then slow cooking it, makes the ribs flavorful and ready to fall off the bone. Preheat the oven to 500 degrees. Remove the wrapping and place the slab on a baking tray and cook on high heat for 8-10 mins on each side. Remove from the oven and wrap it airtight in an aluminum foil. Place it back in the oven and bake on low heat for 2 hours. Once desired tenderness is reached, remove from the oven. The ribs will be nice and juicy. Place the ribs on the grill or a grill pan and cook for 5-6 mins on both sides, flipping it over occasionally. Once it turns charred and golden brown, apply the BBQ sauce on both sides and cook for another minute. Remove from flame. Rest the ribs for 10-15 mins. Serve and enjoy with your favorite sides.
