Crunchy Prawns 65

A delicious starter that is infused in flavors of curry leaves & a blend of spices & deep fried!

Prawns – 500 g, shell removed & cleaned
Red chili powder – 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Pepper powder – 2 tbsp
Red food color – A pinch, optional
Rice flour – 1 tbsp
Cornflour – 1 tbsp
Lemon juice – 3 tbsp
Curry leaves – A sprig
Salt – To taste
Oil- As needed

Method: In a mixing bowl, add the ginger garlic paste, rice flour, corn flour, lemon juice, salt, & spice powders- chili powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder. Mix well. To this, add the prawns and marinate until all the prawns are completely coated well with the mixture. Leave it aside for 1 hour. Heat oil in a pan. Sprinkle curry leaves. Carefully, add the marinated prawns one by one and fry on both sides until golden. Drain them onto a paper towel. Serve and enjoy!
