A Madurai special street food loaded with butter. You cannot stop having just one bun! It is so addictive that makes you want more and more!
Bun – 2
Butter – As needed
Sugar – As needed
Milk – As needed
Method: In a small bowl, add 1 stick of butter & 2 tbsp of milk and mix well to a smooth paste. Make a slit in the middle of the bun. Generously spread the prepared butter to the inside & over the bun slices & sprinkle some sugar over the butter. Heat a tawa or pan. Add some butter and once it is melted place the bun and fry for 1-2 mins, flipping occasionally. Press the bun well with a spatula. Remove from flame. Sprinkle some sugar over the roasted buns and serve hot & delicious Madurai Butter Bun with tea or coffee and enjoy!
