Mediterranean Style Grilled Backribs

Welcome the grill season with these flavor packed backribs!

Beef ribs- 2 racks
Shish Tawook Masala powder – 3 tbsp
Zaatar spice powder- 2 tbsp
Chopped onions- 1/2 cup
White wine- 4 tbsp
Dry parsley flakes – 2 tsp
Lemon juice- 1/2 lemon
BBQ sauce – 1/2 cup
Olive oil- As needed
Salt- To taste

Method: In a small bowl, make a marinade with all the ingredients mentioned above. Rub the marinade generously over the ribs on both sides. Wrap it in an aluminum foil and keep it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight. Preheat the oven to 400° Fahrenheit. Remove the foil and bake the ribs for 10 minutes on both sides. Wraps the ribs rack with foil again and slow cook at 240° Fahrenheit for about 3 hours. Remove the ribs from the oven. Unwrap the ribs and generously spread the BBQ sauce over the ribs and grill until nicely charred and crisp in spots, about 8 mins per side. Transfer the ribs to a cutting board and cut in between the bones. Arrange the ribs on a serving platter, drizzle with olive oil & salt. Serve with cut lemons and enjoy juicy ribs!
