Lip smacking savory veggie dosa waffles is a great way to use leftover dosa batter!
Dosa batter – 2 cups
Tomato- 1, finely chopped
Mini bell peppers (red & orange)- 1/2 cup, finely chopped
Carrot- 1, finely shredded
Green chilies- 1, finely chopped
Chili flakes- 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds- 1/4 tsp
Oil – As needed
Salt – To taste
Method: In a small pan, heat oil and splutter the mustard seeds and chili flakes. In a bowl, add the dosa batter and chopped veggies along with salt and the prepared tadka and mix well. Heat the waffle maker as per instructions. Smear it with oil. Gently pour the dosa batter on the heated waffle water and level it. Cook until it becomes light golden in color. Take them out once done and serve with chutney of your choice.
