Add flavor to your regular dosas with the water-laden cucumbers!

Raw rice- 1 cup, soaked
Cucumber-1, grated
Ginger- 1″ piece
Grated coconut-1/4 cup
Fenugreek seeds- A few
Cumin seeds- 1/4 tsp
Salt – To taste
Ghee/clarified butter- As needed

Method: Grind the soaked rice, ginger, grated coconut, & cumin seeds into a smooth batter. Leave it aside for 8 hours or overnight to ferment. Once fermented, add the grated cucumber, 1 cup of water, and salt to the prepared batter and mix well. Heat a dosa tawa and grease it with butter. Pour a ladleful of the batter to the hot tawa and using the back of the ladle swirl the batter to form a circle. Drizzle some ghee on top of dosa and allow to roast. Gently flip the dosa and cook it for another minute until it comes off easily from the pan. Transfer to a plate. Repeat the process for the remaining batter. Serve hot with sambar or chutney of your choice. Enjoy!
