Potato Masala Toast

This famous street food is a perfect combination of green chutney & potato masala!

Bread slices- 6-8
Potatoes-2 Green chilies-2, finely chopped
Onion-1, finely chopped
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Salt – To taste
Dry parsley leaves- As needed
Green chutney or coriander chutney – As needed
Grated mozzarella cheese- 1 cup
Red pepper flakes – As needed for garnish

Method: Pressure cook the potatoes and mash them well. In a large bowl, add mashed potatoes, chopped onions, green chilies, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Give it all a good mix.

Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F. Take a bread slice and generously spread green chutney on one side. Spread some of the potato mixture all over the bread slice. Sprinkle dry chili flakes and grated mozzarella cheese. Repeat the process with the remaning potato mixture and bread slices. Bake the breads in the oven for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese on top melts. Take it out and serve warm with chutney of your choice!
