Green Peas Kuzhi Paniyaram

Packed with flavors, this healthy snack is quick & easy to make for your loved ones!

Dosa batter- 1 cup
Boiled green peas – 1 cup
Carrot – 1, finely grated
Onion – 1, finely chopped
Green chilies-2
Garlic – 5-6 cloves
Ginger – 1 inch
Semolina – 3 tbsp
Chaat Masala powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Red chili flakes – 1/2 tsp
Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – To taste
Coriander leaves- A small bunch, finely chopped
Baking Soda – 1/4 tsp (optional)
Lime juice – A few drops
Oil – As needed
Water- As needed

Method: In a grinder, add the boiled green peas, ginger, garlic, & green chilies. Blend it into a paste adding little water. Transfer into a bowl. To this mixture, add the chopped onion, grated carrot, idly batter, semolina, red chili flakes, pepper powder, chaat masala powder, chopped coriander, lemon juice & salt, and mix well to form a thick batter. Leave it aside for 5 mins. Add baking soda and mix gently.

Heat the appe pan. Grease the molds with oil. Carefully pour in a scoop of the batter into each mold of the appe pan. Let it cook for 2 mins until it turns golden brown on the bottom side. Flip gently to the other side and cook for another 2 mins. Transfer the cooked paniyarams to a serving plate. Enjoy!!!
