Fluffy grains of rice tossed in garlicky oil & blended with veggies packed full of flavor!
Basmati rice- 2 cups
Onion – 1, finely chopped
Garlic – 10-12 cloves, finely chopped
Cabbage – 1/2 cup, finely shredded
Soy sauce – 1/4 tsp
Vinegar -1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder- 1 tsp
Coriander leaves- A small bunch, finely chopped
Water- As needed
Salt- To taste
Oil- As needed
Method: Cook the Basmati rice in a rice cooker and keep it aside. Heat oil in a pan. Add the garlic and fry until the raw smell disappears and it becomes golden crispy & golden brown. To this, add the chopped onions and saute until translucent. Add in the shredded cabbage and cook for 10-12 minutes. Add the soy sauce, vinegar, pepper powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 1-2 mins. Add the rice and mix well to combine. Garnish with chopped coriander. Remove from flame and serve hot.
