A simple and perfect snack that tastes delicious with a slight crunch to each bite!
Rava/semolina- 1/2 cup
Milk- 3/4 cup
Sugar- 1/2 cup
Desiccated coconut flakes – 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder- A pinch
Method: Heat a pan. Dry roast the rava. Add sugar and mix well. Add the milk little by little and mix well with the rava until well combined without any lumps. Remove from flame. Allow it to cool a little. Add half of the coconut flakes. Using your hands, knead this mixture into a smooth dough. Grease your hand with oil. Divide the dough into small balls. Roll the rava balls into cylinder shaped fingers. Place the rava fingers into a steamer and steam for 5 mins. Remove from flame. Roll the fingers in the remaining coconut flakes. Serve with a warm cup of tea!
