Chatpata Bhutta / Indian Street Food Style Grilled Corn

Spiced roasted corn is a favorite street snack during the monsoon season in India. This recipe brings a totally different flavor to the regular grilled corn on the cob!


Corns- 6
Lime juice- 2 tsp
Red chili powder- 1 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Grated cheese – 1/2 cup
Salt – To taste

Method: In a small bowl, mix together the lime juice, red chili powder, chaat masala, and salt. Keep it aside. Remove the husk from the corns and grill them, rotating them every few minutes until you get a nice char on the corns. Generously brush the prepared marinade over the grilled corns. Sprinkle the grated cheese and enjoy it hot!
