Paneer Aur Aloo Ke Kabab (Tikki) / Cottage Cheese & Potato Patties

Put a hearty smile on your loved ones’ face with the great taste of these ultimate yummy kebabs that are so tempting and delicious that you will crave for more!

 

Ingredients:
Paneer / cottage cheese- 1 cup, grated
Potatoes – 2, boiled and mashed well without lumps
Ginger-garlic paste- 1 tsp
Green chili paste – 1 tsp
Mint leaves – A small bunch, finely chopped
Coriander leaves- A small bunch, finely chopped
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder- 1 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – To taste
Oil – As needed for shallow frying

Method: In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients to make a smooth dough mixture. Apply little oil on your hands. Divide the mixture into equal lemon sized balls. Shape and flatten each ball to form patties. Heat oil in a pan and gently place the tikkis in the pan and shallow fry them on both sides until golden brown and crisp. Serve hot kebabs with any sauce of your choice!

 

Note: Adjust the spices according to your taste.
