Punjabi Dhaba Style Gobhi Masala

Ingredients:
1 medium size cauliflower – chopped into small pieces
1 large onion – finely sliced
2 large tomatoes – finely chopped
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp chilli powder
½ tsp garam masala powder
Salt to taste
Finely chopped fresh coriander

Method: In a pan add oil, chopped cauliflower, & salt and fry till the cauliflower turns golden brown. When it is cooked, keep it aside. In the same pan, add oil, sliced onion, cumin seeds, and cook till they change color. Add ginger-garlic paste & mix well. Add chopped tomatoes with little water. Cover and cook for 5 mins. Once the tomatoes are cooked, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder & salt. Saute it for 2 mins. Add cooked cauliflower & garam masala powder. Add a little more water to the pan & mix all the ingredients well, & cook until the cauliflower is tender. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander & serve with hot chapptis.
